Now that we all know the real feelings of the hyphenated group there isn’t much of a resolution. They tell us every day just who they are by their description of themselves. If the insistence is African-Americans then it is quite obvious that their allegiance is first to the the country they want to identify with and not America, no matter how much they have been given.

It is apparent that they have moved from the gimme phase to the gimmemore phase. Asking now for reform of the laws that we all live under to make it easier for them to escape jurisdiction. Being approximately 13% of the population committing over 50% of the crimes they think that they shouldn’t be stopped and questioned. Well just maybe if they would stop the criminal behavior the need to question them would go away.

Sorry but they created the situation and I for one do not think they need any sympathy for this end.

I guess Michael Bennett is in charge now.

“...it’s his ship now, his command; he’s in charge, he’s the boss, the head man, the top dog, the big cheese, the head honcho...”

"It reminded me of the Dred Scott case"

Yeah, sure. EXACTLY like Dred Scott. Why didn't I think of that?

I demand that Jerry Jones turn over ownership of the Dallas Cowboys, the stadium, and all other related business interests to Colin Kaepernick IMMEDIATELY.

think the NFL players should strike until someone hires AND STARTS Colin Kapernick!

I agree. Let's put this league out of our misery as soon as possible.

But I think the real reason owners don't want this guy is because of all the baggage he brings with him. They don't want the turmoil and drama on their teams. They are not obligated to hire him just because he chose free agency.

What you say was true a year ago, but the NFL is now full of Kaepernicks. This Bennet guy is just as big an asshole as Kaepernick; so is Marshawn Lynch (and others). I would not be surprised to see Kaepernick get signed now (if he actually wants to be signed). I don't see how he can make the situation any worse, particularly if he is signed by one of the teams that are heavily identified with hating the flag, like the Seahawks or Jaguars.

That is no accident (the “gibsmemore” phase); Dems are desperate to whip the blacks back onto the plantation after they could have, but declined to, enthrone Hillary. For three more years we’ll be swamped with stories of unhappy black people, after eight years of silence as they fell into utter ruin and chaos under the Kenyan Pirate.

Until current NFL players go on strike to support CK their words are simply hollow.

Way to go, Goodell.

You waffled and equivocated yesterday, and now your players are tripling-down on stupid.

Hope your next job at the Burger King drive-thru works out better.

That sounded very much like blackmail to me.

The man is a union rep. Blackmail is their business.

.........it’s more fundamental than that. These players want CONTROL of the NFL.

Jerry Jones stock value in the most valuable sports franchise of all time is slipping by the minute, and he knows it, and would be buyers know it, because 1,300 odd black millionaire’s cannot run the NFL.

The NFL is trying to buy off these guys to placate them and have them stop the demonstrations.

I don’t remember the team, but one team was seriously looking at him until his racist -itch girlfriend said the team owner and managers were plantation owners. Who wants to put up with a player like Kaepernick and a -itch like that. Who needs the headache.

I don't watch NFL football and never did. I am not privy to the ins and outs of players names, teams, etc. except for when this controversy makes the news.

What's going to happen is going to happen. I have no control over whether CK gets rehired and/or plays, nor do I really care.

What I will say though is that hiring him under this pressure from the players association and other thugs on their knees, is the worst kind of decision the NFL could make.

Not saying they've made good decisions in the past but from a strictly business management point-of-view, Roger Goodall is stepping into one cow pie after another. He's not a leader and has a rudderless ship taking on water on his hands and thinks poking more holes in the hull will solve the problem.

I could go on and on which I am prone to do, but I don't want you to think I know anymore about this than anybody else does. I don't. I just have 45 years under my belt in corporate management experience and I can spot a boil on the ass when I see one.

The NFL has succumbed to the Leftist mentality, just like every other large institution and organization in the US that the liberals have gotten their greedy little mitts on, has done. When I read that Joe Lockhart was the spokesman for the NFL, I knew right then that they were lost.

You name it and the liberals have taken charge and have managed to ruin whatever it was before. Education, legal profession, medical, entertainment, Wall Street, media, government and now sports with the liberal ESPN and NFL.

Everything to the liberals is politics. Not necessarily the politics the general population wants but the politics the Left will stuff down their throats with the impact all of these institutions and organizations have on society.

The NFL is not dying because of players kneeling in disrespect to the flag and country. It is losing because the institution itself has gone Full Monty for the progressive liberal BS.

Michael, remember the movie Rudy? Go into Pete Carroll’s office, place your uniform on his desk, and tell him you want Colin to dress in your place . . .
