Wow. Those school rankings are bad...really, really bad. It would be interesting to hear from a teacher who works there, a realistic teacher, one with his/her feet on the ground.
Why are those rankings so bad?
If I had to guess, my first guess would be that the school has a social-justice principal, one who sides with the students. Such a principal will always send disruptive students back to class. And even one disruptive student in a class will cause a lesson to grind to a halt.
My second guess would be that the school has a social-justice curriculum, where it’s more important to make social-justice posters than it is to learn how to add fractions.
Maybe it’s a combination of the two, with poor student attendance to top it all off.
