“He knew what he was signing up for”
Is one of the greatest compliments one can give to a fallen soldier.
Unfortunately soldiers can have good parents or bad parents. In this case his mother is trampling all over her son’s memory. She should be ashamed.
I am sure pressure is being brought to bear on her and don’t be surprised if the wife is getting it also
My Father signed up right after Pearl Harbor and spent several years in the South Pacific in some very dangerous places.
He told my Mother that he knew what he was signing up for too. And he knew what could happen. Exactly what this President who loves his military and all it’s members is quoted as saying.
