There are plenty of “duck into” spots....all the way to the elevators.
But the minute someone starts shooting down that hallway, no matter how many rounds and whether you are hit or not, who would be stupid enough to try and venture out of the one you are melding with the room door with until some sort of reinforcements arrive?
