Homosexual behavior is an abomination, not the homosexual. Christians are called to love their enemies. Think you have a better chance of witnessing to Christ by calling a homosexual an abomination or being kind yet honest when given an opportunity to discus the issue? You interact with sinners all day and are one yourself so you might want to spend more time reading the actual word of God rather than playing Him.
