President Trump dropped 92 spots on Forbes' list of the 400 richest Americans in 2017.

Trump now sits at No. 248, compared to being ranked No. 156 on the list last year.

Forbes estimates the president's net worth to be $3.1 billion, a drop of $600 million since last year. Trump has claimed he worth's $10 billion.

The magazine attributed the drop in Trump's fortune to "a tough New York real estate market, particularly for retail locations, a costly lawsuit and an expensive presidential campaign."

Trump paid $25 million to settle three Trump University fraud lawsuits days before his was sworn in as president.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Amazon owner founder and Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos top the list of richest Americans.

The magazine neglects to mention that he has not been able to actively manage his assets since 1/20.

How many of us would sacrifice that much wealth for a bunch of ingrates?

President Trump will be the only man in history to leave the office of President Poorer than when he entered.

True, and the Left wants him to be penniless when he does.

You’re right. Trump has sacrificed a lot to try to fix this country.

I don’t regret for a second voting for Trump.
None of the other candidates including the Republicans could hold a candle to him.

I dont care if he drops 2000 spots. He loves America more than his wealth and thats why he’s president. For crying out loud, he spent his own money on his own campaign against a BILLION DOLLAR Dem machine that failed to provide a return of investment in Hellary.

How many of our illustrious elected officials can claim that their net worth dropped since taking office?

This magazine does not count the Trump “brand” as having value. Businesses are legitimately given credit for what is termed “blue sky” and Trump has been marketing his name for many years and profiting greatly by doing so.

He’ll still end up with more money than he’d ever be able to spend anyway. He’s doing something he believes is more important than counting his money - he’s making America great again for his family and the American people.

If he had risen even a point they would be screaming
that he was enriching himself as president.

Odd, how Obama is now so much wealthier than when
he was a simple neighborhood activist...

You should have really used "in modern times", when talking about a president leaving office poorer than he entered the Oval Office!

Preside3ntg Grant left office in a state of absolute penury!

Many other past presidents left office in a monetary bind as well. That's WHY we now have to pay HUGE pensions and money on all kinds of support, for stinking rich, CORRUPT, much wealthier than when they took office, old codgers....the Congress started all of that stuff.

Perot was worth $3billion in real dollars and had it all in government bonds earning 3% a year tax free. If my math is right that’s $900,000 a year.

Anyone know where he is on the list?

Did they expect that signing over assets to his heirs in order to assuage a conflict of interest while POTUS would *not* have an effect on his net worth?

I think when he goes to rallies, he understands that millions of us are NOT ingrates! We LOVE him, and he knows it... and even better - he LOVES us! He has his priorities in order!

Having said that, you are right. Darn few people would sacrifice like that... and it makes THIS American love him even more.

Many are saying, and I agree, he has been tapped for a Mission by our Lord to MAGA. He requires all of our prayers that we can muster on his and his family’s behalf! There are so many forces arrayed against him.
