Market doomsayer Marc "Dr. Doom" Faber has launched a racially charged diatribe in his latest newsletter, alleging that the U.S. is great primarily because it is ruled by white people.
The eccentric Gloom, Boom & Doom report author, who often speaks on CNBC and other financial media, generally forecasting some type of market downturn, focused his latest comments on the racial conflicts happening around the country.
(A CNBC spokesperson said it will not book him in the future.)
"And thank God white people populated America, and not the blacks. Otherwise, the US would look like Zimbabwe, which it might look like one day anyway, but at least America enjoyed 200 years in the economic and political sun under a white majority," he wrote.
"I am not a racist, but the reality — no matter how politically incorrect — needs to be spelled out."
Reached for comment via email, Faber did not back away from his statements to CNBC.
"If stating some historical facts makes me a racist, then I suppose that I am a racist. For years, Japanese were condemned because they denied the Nanking massacre," he told CNBC in an email.

When it was Rhodesia, it was wonderful for all. Black, white Asian and whatever. Once they got ‘emancipated’? it got brutal, poor and nothing good has happened since. Shut off all aid to these thieves.
Opposing racism with racism is a self defeating tactic. It was Christian values that blessed this land.

I agree with you. However, I have one issue. Racism is a word narrowly defined by leftists, marxists, and revolutionaries to apply only to “white” people. Marx’s dialectic requires you reduce everything to materialism and demonize your opponent then attack him. I would maintain there is no provable behavior called “racism” it is simply demonization of straight, white, Christian, males. I would change your postulate to “Opposing stereotypes and prejudice with stereotypes and prejudice is a self defeating tactic. It was Christian values that blessed this land” . I totally agree

If I recall Sowell’s argument it runs something like this...Africa is peculiar in having no rivers that are navigable other than the Nile. The interior of Africa is a plateau. Rivers run only a short distance from the coast before running into falls, rapids, etc.
Sowell also maintains that Africa lacked large animals that could be domesticated like the horse, oxen, camels, caribou.
we have paid blacks over a $trillion in reparations ( welfare) since 1968 and it has done very little good. Their unmarried birth rate is 73%. They excel in sports and shoot each other in the thousands each year. We need an open and truthful discussion of this topic.
