US judge blocks latest Trump travel restrictions to the US from eight countries (This again?)
CNBC ^

A federal judge in Hawaii blocked President Donald Trump's latest bid to impose restrictions on citizens from eight countries entering the United States, which had been set to take effect this week.

The open-ended ban, announced last month, targeted people from Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Chad and North Korea, as well as certain government officials from Venezuela. It was the latest version of a policy that had previously targeted six Muslim-majority countries but had been restricted by the Supreme Court.

U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson on Tuesday granted Hawaii's request to temporarily block the federal government from enforcing the policy. It was supposed to take effect at midnight Wednesday.

Hawaii argues the updated ban is a continuation of President Donald Trump's "promise to exclude Muslims from the United States."

When is the boy’s home state, Hawaii, going to start accepting Muzzie “refugees”?

“And Congress should impeach and remove this wayward errant judge.

At this point, this judge is an enemy combatant—working for the Left.”

So is the Congress.

Maybe the questionable arrivals should be detained and vetted in the judge’s hometown.

Pretty sure that Judge Watson has thoroughly demonstrated that he can’t read.

Simple fix: Re-direct all these travellers to Hawaii (they’d love it!) because as we all know, Hawaiians are renowned for their hospitality toward non-Hawaiians who move to their state, especially if the new “Hawaiian citizens” are dirt poor.

They just think they can just continue to ignore the SC.

I would assume that the administration is going to the SC to have this stopped.

Congress has the authority under the Constitution to set the jurisdiction of the lower courts. We need a new law that any claims that a president has acted unconstitutionally or that our immigration laws are invalid may only be brought before a specified court. That court could be the Supreme Court itself, or the DC Circuit or the District Court somewhere like the Eastern District of Virginia or wherever. But the idea that some judge in Hawaii can do this is absurd.

You fellow Freepers sure have a lot of confidence in CONgress to do something. Impeach political Judges, Sessions investigating a fellow swamper, Mc CONnell changing the senate rules to appoint some of Trumps judge vacancies, term limit bill sent to Trump, etc...it aint gonna happen. EVERYTHING Trump gets done will be through EO. Period.

Trump should have a lawyer review every case this judge has ever ruled on. A huge number of them should be declared "unconstitutional" on flimsy and whimsical grounds. And the White House should demand the judge reverse all these rulings.

If the judge refuses to reverse his judgement in any such case, Trump should ignore all rulings coming from that court. Let the judge do his job, and let the President do his job.

Well that would be a stretch to say the least. It’s more like we have a president a congress, states, governors of states which apparently are all irrelevant because no matter what action they take some judge is going to have the final say. That’s nonsense and it’s time for the people to address this issue.

They’re here, brought in by a leftist AG, imported from Seattle, who colludes with the Rent-A-Judge Watson. The people of Hawaii have asked AG Ching to let us know how much taxpayer money has been spent of the continual lawsuits against President Trump’s actions. Ching is ignoring the request.

Then my six-word note would be too much of a challenge for him. Send a couple federal marshals and a couple dozen attorneys to explain it to him. That might be too taxing, too.

Ignore the ruling.

And Congress should impeach and remove this wayward errant judge.

At this point, this judge is an enemy combatant—working for the Left.

Problem is, Trump would be the one impeached.

Here’s what would happen with no fake news:

A judge with no standing makes a meaningless ruling.
It gets totally ignored by everyone and we never hear about it.

Here’s what happens WITH fake news:

A judge with no standing makes a meaningless ruling.
The MSM reports it as if it was meaningful news.
FR reposts the story as if it was meaningful news.
Everyone here gets all excited over nothing.

They won’t impeach Trump over this—the Supreme Court has already adjucated in his favor in a similar ban.

This judge is just being an agent for the Left.

Fine.

Only let prople from Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Chad and North Korea, as well as certain government officials from Venezuela go to Hawaii.

Their DISTRICT Judge can only deal with things in his district.

Get ready for 1000’s of 20 to 40 year old jihad fighters to be surfing and looting and raping in HAWAII

[[Ignore the ruling.]]

The problem is that he has never ignored it- many claim he has a right to ignore it- but if so- why isn’t he?
