Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) said Tuesday that he and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) have reached a bipartisan deal that would extend payments to insurers under ObamaCare that President Trump said he was ending last week.
The deal would extend the payments to insurers for two years and give states more flexibility to change ObamaCare rules. The negotiations had been aimed at stabilizing insurance markets.
.........When Republicans in the Senate made a last-ditch effort to repeal ObamaCare in September, the Alexander-Murray talks were cut off, with some GOP senators saying their bipartisan efforts would go nowhere in the House.

Frankly, this "deal" is desperation from them (listen to the moronic Patty Murray tut tut about "chaos" they let happen... the ultraliberals), because hitlery didn't win to continue the REAL driver in this, and the support for IRAN nuke deal by the two TN senators (all the while publicly saying they were against it, and then the Corker Amendment...voila illegal!!) and dems in the TN legislative team: the publicly discussed (and then quickly hidden) proposal to privatize the Tennessee Valley Assn-- impacting not only TN, but all the waterways into AL, MS, GA and down to FL, and parts of NC!! A special "insider" transfer of ownership, not unlike the $1 transfer of military bases- that done for example with the Naval Training Center, Orlando, FL... to Penny Pritzker and the Pritzker real estate empire (it happened folks, by the ostensibly republican mayor Glenda Hood, and it could happen with TVA- it was proposed, and then disappeared from the media). The obama payoff which was to be extended right into a hitlery nightmare administration.... bribery on a vast scale.
The only reason Alexander is doing this is that both he and Corker are in the crosshairs from TN conservatives, for this and many other reasons. Also, Marsha Blackburn, TN (R) is after Corker's job and they are positioning with McConnell's help to isolate her from any chance of getting through the primaries. Dirty rotten bastards, both to them-- bushies, and especially rinos for for Romneycare, blessing the nation with the idiocy that is Massachusetts welfare state. While the "leaders" have their offshore brokerage investment "income" and laundry in the Caymans (sniff).
It took them what a week to find a way to bail out the insurance companies but just can’t seem to find a way to bail out the citizens and stop this crap with almost 8 years!

I filed yesterday and paid my fine for now having insurance. It was a lot cheaper than having it.
Right now it is supposedly a plan that can pass because it has Democrat support. The question is how many will actually vote for it. If it is over 66 he can but then they override.

Yes but he won’t.. trump is not idealogical like most of you think he is. trump only killed the subsidy because they were illegal and he wanted congress to do its job and come up with bill to make them legal.

Meanwhile— the brilliance of exposing the illegal obama-spent (Presidents cannot spend money that is not Congressionally approved— it was an impeachable offence, btw- good luck with that), and therefore Constitutionally stopping an illegal action: this action on Trump’s part stops the subsidies upon which many people were propped up to meet the mandate checkbox. Equal protection under the law in the face of this totally legal removal of the subsidy, forces the practical removal of ANY mandate (no more cherry picking enforcement), and shuts down the entire set up. From which true healthcare reform that is market based, can be built.
All Lamar is doing is kicking the can, to buy political time and keep the “masses” happy until they can shiv us again. That is doing the exact bidding of the socialists who designed obamaumaocare to fail and cause the great political shift and demand from the expanding gibsmedat State... for single government payor (what Bernie calls “medicare for all”- including illegal aliens/ie voters).
