My husband is an electrical engineer. He lived & went to school in a state with a large indigenous population. At the state college where he went, in the ee department there was at least 1 spot set aside for an Indian student. He said in all the years he was there it was never filled.
I can’t believe there Indian population didn’t know they could go to college. Probably for or close to free.
