McCainiac does not fit my definition of a hero EVER!

Does getting captured make one a hero. Sure, he didn’t want to be captured...but he was. I feel sorry he suffered at the hands of a brutal regime in Vietnam but that doesn’t make one a hero.
Most of the heroes are dead and buried... and those alive don’t act like John McLame.
See, this kind of thinking, especially from a supposed Republican like McCain, is pathetic. The only thing good Democrats have done lately is to rediscover some measure of state sovereignty and localism in the time of Trump, but sadly, only because it’s convenient for them.
What us that he did that was heroic?
