No mention of any ‘father’.....................
He was 18 at the time of her murder.............
Absolutely!
Is he one of those splendid DACA creatures?
We kill mad dogs, and they are less culpable. Taxpayers will picking up the tab for this murderer, and the shameless lawyers who will be trying to free him, for 60 years.
Young thugs can literally get away with murder. The crying-towell, psychological excuses for murder are raised with a vengeance when the murderer is young.
Yeah...I did the math too!!
“was on multiple psychiatric medications”
Apparently the only medication this guy needed was a dose
of 230 grain .45 acp to the head.
Long ago, it was suggested the “Not guilty due to insanity” plea be changed to “Guilty, but insane”, then a permanent cell in a prison psycho ward.
There are people in this world who don't bother with their consciences. They make clear, cold decisions where they think of other people as if they were cockroaches.
Most of us use our consciences daily and can not fathom another person squishing others like they were bugs.
I agree with you. Society needs protection from the truly insane.
So this means that, in about five years, he’ll be cured and released?
Ditto
Agreed. They are a danger to everyone around them. And eventually they WILL be released & do something horrific again.
The ACLU demanded to Reagan that all the mental hospitals be closed “because these people didn’t deserve to be put behind bars, fences, and walls.
Someone please reverse that stupidity ASAP.
Or spend the rest of your life making sure he took his meds?
The first job tends to destroy the humanity of the guards. The second tends to draw folks who want to let these folks fly free.
The problem with government minder services, be it jailers or parole officers or Child Protection, is that they eventually want to watch all of us, control all the kids.
Yep it sucks, but killing the crazy people has implications too and doesn’t sit well. Starting mass executions of criminally insane can make the executioners insane.
So many sides.
Go easy on the poor child, he’s an orphan now.
I agree, evil and craziness are not mutually exclusive. And many people with mental illness have controlled themselves with morality and the Bible. THe worst part in psychiatry nowadays is that the patient is a client and thus always right, and if he , say, rapes a nurse, she is punished. It is fracking nuts.
He should be in the hospital for the rest of his life - about 3 hours...Sick...
Isn’t this a bit high handed for the State to do this? Shouldn’t a jury be able to weigh in on whether or not this man is psychotic? Seems to set a bad precedent.
