Type 2 diabetics can get excellent treatment, but damage done is damage done.
Nobody dies from diabetes. They die from complications due to diabetes.
Sotomayor doesn’t look like she’s in compliance with medical guidelines so she may just drop dead from complications or lice another 20 years. Be that as it may, I have doubts about Trump voicing this as opinion to anybody but the strictest of confidants.
What I do think is that it’s prudent to have contingency plans for known unknowns.
People with type 1 Diabetes can survive on, but in your sixties...you need a low-intense lifestyle and to avoid stress. This would not be the ideal job for someone in this field.
