A group of Georgia cheerleaders say they'll take a knee in the stadium tunnel when the national anthem is played at Saturday's homecoming game since their university moved them off the field after an earlier demonstration.
Kennesaw State University cheerleader Shlondra Young tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the so-called "Kennesaw Five" will kneel until the U.S. flag "represents what it should."
The cheerleaders say they've paid attention to the nationwide debate over NFL players kneeling during the anthem, and they prayed before doing so at a Sept. 30 game.
Cobb County Sheriff Neil Warren tells The Marietta Daily Journal he called the school president after that game and was assured the demonstration would not happen again.
School officials say they moved the cheerleaders off the field before games to "improve the fan experience."

Notice how they all put the black pompom in front and the yellow one behind, whether they are kneeling or standing, except for one of them that didn’t know the routine.

If I’m not mistaken is it not Kennesaw, Georgia that requires every home owner to own a gun?
Overall it’s a conservative area. Thus, I don’t think idea is well planned.
Go for it dunce, and you will kill the little revenue your college gets from the football program.
Then the geniuses at Kennesaw State will wonder why their football program will not take off like the University of Georgia or Georgia Tech.

Those are the questions they should be asking themselves and that we should be asking them.
Over the weekend, I had a discussion with "a democrat". It started when I went on a short rant after a news story about politics. She insisted she was a democrat because "that's how she grew up." But she votes "split ticket" and doesn't always vote for the democrat. I asked her, "what policy or agenda or idea do you support that the democratic party stands for?" She wanted to end the conversation there.
She is against abortion. She is against the NFL kneeling. She is against BLM. She doesn't understand taxes. But she identifies as a democrat.
It occurs to me, this is likely pretty common in this country. At least for Millennials I think it is in vogue to have political opinions and practice activism. It shows you are important and want to make a difference. Besides, all your friends are doing it and it's what celebrities do. But they exist in a micro-culture of abject ignorance. They have no idea what they support. They don't even understand the basic tenants of our founding as a nation or the documents establish our nation.
Maybe more tips that way?
Shlondra Young needs to return her scholarships and grants with interest. She can pack her bags and leave that tax dollar funded school.
Money is the only thing these universities understand.

I have to admit I never heard of Kennesaw State till today. I wonder if they really need the bad press? My first thought was, is this the place Judge Kennesaw Mountain Landis came from? 😁
They can follow the NFL and cheer for them in North Korea. But remember, the first one who falls off the pyramid will be fed to the fat boy’s dogs.

Well, if you’re expecting the (R)NC to, some how some day, gain the ability to ‘enlighten’ such people, I’m afraid you’ll have to go it alone.
The (R)NC can’t keep to the same page (IE: ‘small govt’ and Constitution) while voting for blank checks\PP\NEA\TARP\NCLB\DHS\etc.
At least the (D) have ONE message that they stick to: sticking it to the People and ruling as overlords. But, they are consistent and have more in their camp that the rest!
The county can be red, red but any college campus is a blue enclave.
