Aiding Transgender Case, Sessions Defies His Image on Civil Rights
NY Times ^ | 10-15-2017 | MATT APUZZO

WASHINGTON — The Justice Department has dispatched an experienced federal hate crimes lawyer to Iowa to help prosecute a man charged with murdering a transgender high school student last year, a highly unusual move that officials said was personally initiated by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

In taking the step, Mr. Sessions, a staunch conservative, is sending a signal that he has made a priority of fighting violence against transgender people individually, even as he has rolled back legal protections for them collectively.

The Justice Department rarely assigns its lawyers to serve as local prosecutors, and only in cases in which they can provide expertise in areas that the federal government views as significant. By doing so in this instance, Mr. Sessions put the weight of the government behind a small-city murder case with overtones of gender identity and sexuality.

I still don’t understand how the FBI is off in the weeds somewhere investigating who knows what while Hillary Clinton and numerous BS crimes by the Democrat Party go uninvestigated.

You know why, so why ask?

I believe these people need serious mental health help, and fast when diagnosed with gender dysphoria (or whatever it’s called). Before they mutilate their bodies and regret it the rest of their lives.

But I also believe they are people and don’t deserve to be murdered. Society and culture are to blame. Especially a 16 year old who has very little life experience.

He’s a swamp dweller and always has been for sure.

But why should the DoJ not be involved with a murder case where the teen was LGHASYBASERTYOIWHATEVER?

Are they not people?

Slithering Snake Sessions is one vile piece of sh*t well deserving of the utmost putrid vomit one can hurl in his direction.

I know! I'll defend homosexual perverted men who dress up as women and cut their own nuts off! That will make so popular to the press!!!

He's helping to prosecute murderers. Is that a problem?

I laugh out loud everytime I see that collection of photos.
If nothing else, Sessions has a very expressive face.
He could not play professional Poker.

He managed to look hot, and when they got him alone for a gang bang, they killed him as a shocked reaction. Nice boys shouldn’t kill the trannies that they mistakenly tried to gang bang. Definitely a federal matter./s

Rough trade, gay deception is a dangerous game to play.

Additionally a 16 year old boy shouldn’t be dating or turning tricks with 22 year old men.

16 year olds should stay the hell away from sex, but even if they just looked for a tranny and beat him to death, it’s still not a case for the federal government. State prosecutors handle more than their share of murder cases.

The ONLY time the federal government should conceivably get involved with a state case like this is when, and only when, a state is so obviously not willing to meet out justice against the perpetrator, such as letting a proven murderer slide.

I seriously doubt that this is the case here, or anywhere else in modern America.

You can guarantee that the GerBiLs will work overtime to get the maximum propaganda mileage out of this case, just like they did with Matthew Sheppard. Sessions weighing in will only help the perverts in their agenda.

Haven’t seen one hate crimes prosecution over the knock out game or numerous abduction rape/murder cases (where the perps take turns raping and torturing the victims for days in what are termed “robberies gone wrong”).
