[The Koran has numerous references to Christians and Jews. Muhammad was very familiar with the monotheism represented by the Christians and religious Jews. The Koran never mentions some other title for God that Christians and Jews were using rather than “Allah.” This makes it very obvious that Islam did not borrow the title of God from some moon-worshipping cult. He used the same title that all Arabic speakers, including Christians and Jews, were using, which is “Allah.”]
