If you know how to use a browser, you can set up Roku on the TV. Just grab the manual and let your fingers do the walking. The complicated VCR setup instructions of the past are long gone. The Roku setup really is simple. Just give it a try. You’ll be surprised how easy it was. Browsing Free Republic on a computer is more complicated.

Off topic maybe, but are there any set top boxes that allow you to surf the net like a regular browser?

My GoogleTV has a browser, but they haven’t updated it in years. It’s becoming less and less useful as time goes by.
