So what's everyone paying for internet?

Been with charter for eons, finally cut the(TV)part 3 years ago, but internet keeps going up and up...currently paying $55 month for 60M service.

If you have a cable modem, I highly recommend buying an Arris SB6190 “Surfboard” instead of renting the one that Comcast or your cable provider rents for $10/month. This modem has 32 tuners and can get you much better downloads than what the rental modem can provide. I am paying for 60 but realizeing 248 Mbps down and 12 Mbps up.

Naturally you NEED a WiFi router, which you can buy from Walmart. I suggest the 802.11AC at best, or the 802.11n if you are buying one.

I have charter also. Right now I am paying $44.99 (first year) after that they told me it would be $60.

Before I went with Charter I was using an Internet Cell tower that was only $14.95 month. It fit my needs, but my grandson is living with us now and he needed faster speed for his games.
