WASHINGTON, Oct 13 (Reuters) - A coalition of U.S. states will file a new lawsuit challenging President Donald Trump's plan to end Obamacare subsidies to health insurers that help low-income people pay out-of-pocket medical expenses, a source in the New York attorney general's Office said on Friday.

Another lawsuit based on shopping for the right judge. The Ctrl-Left thugs just had to find a judge willing to rule that the President must spend money on demand, even if that money has not been appropriated by Congress. After eight years under the usurper and self-proclaimed “Constitutional Law Professor” from Indonesia, it should not be hard to find a judge willing to assert that nonexistent authority.

Sorry, FRiend, but why the debate/battle is lost from word one: starting from the Leftists viewpoint.

Congress has NO ability to spend for that which it has no AUTHORITY. A1S8. Done & over. Next step? Contracts, 9th & 10th. Want to take it even further? violates 5th & 13th (as does ALL welfare).

“They have the power to tax” is NEVER followed up w/ the 1/2 half of that point (most (R) too stupid to connect any dots)....”for which they have authority”

So long as John Roberts is there are you really SURE you want to do that?

Yep. If the last administration could pressure him to vote their way, I'm sure this administration can do the same.

Wait, aren’t these “payments” coming from the Treasury without an appropriation?

You know, as in, Article I §9, “No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law”

All THREE branches of our government have an equal obligation to observe the Constitution. If both the Congress and the Executive agree that the subsidy was un-Constitutional, it matters not what a Court of Appeals or the SCOTUS say.

What kind of education do the Attorneys General of these states have?

They don’t know the difference between an UNCONSTITUTIONAL EO from Obama & the reversal of that EO from Trump???

I can understand the jerk from California. He is Hispanic & La Raza from his first breath.

If supreme court says it’s legal for the POTUS to take money from.the treasury, which is what Obama did, then Trump can take money from the treasury to build the wall ..

Do the liberals on the supreme court reallllllly want that????
