“Exactly WHAT do they do on the Senate floor??”

Self congratulatory self stimulation for pseudo-intellectual ego puffery and hurrahs.

The Democrats spend every second throwing up one objection or floor vote attempt after another. They are in full block mode, making sure they can paint this Congress as the worst ever, and blaming Republicans for the problems.

Massive circle jerks in the cloak room. They are no better than Hollywood.

Network amounts themselves and the powerful, to maintain a standard of living. It’s all a scam to suck off the American People so that they set their families up for generations.

Politics is the show business for politicians. They are playing Kabuki theater on a sporadic basis. The cloak room is for drinking parties and groping of pages.

Also, I believe that a goodly number of its members are on Alzheimer’s medication. They seem to have forgotten their purpose.

I see they want to keep Blue Slips, take 30 hours per judge nomination, yet take all the vacations the poor overworked dears.

I would take away their Obamacare exemption, and look at their budgets, expense accounts and travel budgets.

Publically exposed every juncket they take on vacations.

This is supposed to be a family-friendly message board, so we shouldn't discuss such things.

If Mitch was interested in doing his job, he would schedule hearings to be a marathon 30 hours straight. Any Dem wanting to ask questions could do so at 3am. Push to get 4 confirmation votes per week.

Congress causing a backlog in the American courts. Americans deserve better. This is what trump should be tweeting.

Senators spend far too much time attending committee meetings to do any actual work on the Senate floor.
All the work is done In committee, at dinners and parties.
The floor speeches and votes have about as much meaning as a grade school play.

It is past time for McConnell to be given an offer he can’t refuse. Nothing is going to get done that helps Trump as long as Republican collaborators are in charge in Congress.

The Congress does nothing except aggrandize themselves,
make themselves immune to Laws they pass for others,
coverup IRS and Benghazi and terrorism Atrocities,
and increase THEIR pay, as they remain EXEMPT.

No wonder they are hated almost as much as ISIS,
except by ISIS.

So tired of that douchebag in Iowa who has been in the Senate almost as long as I’ve been alive.

What a filthy piece of shit Grassley is. Just drop dead already. Nobody is buying your shit anymore.

At some point when does the “make war against the country” come into play? This has gone beyond what is called dissent or disagreement, it is an attempt to thwart the workings of the legally elected government.

Exactly WHAT do they do on the Senate floor??

For some reason, that reminded me of my favorite line from the movie 1776:

A committee formed to think, perhaps to do...
but in any case, to gather, to meet, to confer, to talk...
and perhaps even to resolve that each rifle regiment...
be allowed at least one drum and one fife attached to each company...
designated as the Drum and Fife Committee.

Yep, and with the help of the old media empire, they continue to destroy and paint all republicans with the same black paint. It also is apparent there is some alliance between the rat party and liberfarians to destroy republican dominance.
