San Juan mayor accuses Trump of ‘genocide’ after hurricane
Washington Times ^ | 10/12/17 | Stephen Dinan

The House overcame a conservative rebellion Thursday to pass a new round of disaster relief, saying the $36.5 billion is needed to replenish funds that are quickly depleting in the wake of hurricanes that have battered Texas, Florida, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

The overwhelming 353-69 vote came even as President Trump suggested federal emergency workers cannot remain in Puerto Rico “forever” — and Carmen Yulin Cruz, the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, accused Mr. Trump of “genocide” for what she said was an antipathy toward her island territory.

“I ask every American that has love, and not hate in their hearts, to stand with Puerto Rico and let this President know we WILL NOT BE LEFT TO DIE,” the mayor said in a statement she sent to Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez, Illinois Democrat, and asked him to publicize on Capitol Hill.

“I ask the United Nations, UNICEF and the world to stand with the people of Puerto Rico and stop the genocide that will result from the lack of appropriate action of a President that just does not get it because he has been incapable of looking in our eyes and seeing the pride that burns fiercely in our hearts and souls,” the mayor continued.

Yeah and she's licking her chops over the pending PR statehood effort so she can become a member of congress and get to work with the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters and Luis Guiterrez.

Carmen Yulin Cruz, the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico is actually an activist for PR Independence. The Governor is the one pushing for statehood and Carmen Cruz is running against him.

Instead of getting new t-shirts and posing for the cameras, she could have been driving a truckload of supplies to all those starving and dying constituents.

CNN’s Dr. Sanjay was complaining it was Trump’s fault that hospitals didn’t have generators and doctors didn’t have satellite phones. Then he blabs that his crew has generators and satellite phones. Hey, Sanjay, did you bother to give a hospital with all those dying patients your generator and satellite phone? Huh? No, didn’t think so.

San Juan mayor is deranged. Yet Puerto Ricons voted for her. Makes one want to give Puerto Rico its independence.

Lars Larson spoke on his national radio program that the Puerto Rican politicians are grabbing the relief supplies to dole out to their political friends. It is their way of buying political power. This is the modus operandi of the Democrats.

Fascinating to see the world class political hypocrite, Congressman Luis Guitierrez (D-IL-4th) condemning President Trump for not doing enough for Puerto Rico. Ordinarily, Luis would be calling for the USA to leave Puerto Rico while he huddled with his political terrorist friends from the FALN. These militants set off bombs to advance their radical agenda for Puerto Rico to separate from the USA. Apart from welfare checks and subsidies these characters have no use for the USA.
