I was born in Salinas, it use to be a nice place, always had illegals, but when I was growing up the feared immigration. They changed the name of my elementary school, Sanborn elementary, and renamed it after a Mexican counsel person that died. I haven’t lived their in 30 years. Id like to take my daughters their to see where I grew up, but I don’t because of the crime.
