The only caveat I would have is that something like that starts skating awfully close to the edge of interfering with freedom of the press. For that reason, I think regulation is the wrong approach. Anything that hides under a rock shouldn’t be forced to stay underneath that rock. Instead, it should be dragged out into the light of day, kicking and screaming, for all the world to stare at, and to mock.

The Liberals just LOVE to infringe the Second Amendment.
Interfering with freedom of the press? What makes the First Amendment so special? If the Press decides that some things simply cannot be touched, then make -- MAKE THEM -- support repeal of all gun laws, starting with the 1934 NFA.
