Why don't you ask the US Army Green Berets who were ambushed in Niger by Al Qaeda last week about the French. It was French helicopters who came in and airlifted out the Green Berets and their dead and wounded.

I know it's cool to poke fun at the French, but they were with us in Afghanistan for over 10 years, and they are with us in Africa right now.
