ESPN anchor Jemele Hill was suspended for violating the networks social media policy a second time when she suggested Dallas Cowboy fans boycott the teams advertisers. But according to former ESPN reporter Britt McHenry, it was more about the networks own bottom line than its policies.
McHenry told the FOX Business Networks Stuart Varney, If you go after advertisers like Ford, Bank of America, AT&T, those advertisers are also on ESPN, so not only are you violating the social media policy for the second time in a row, youre attacking the companys bottom line so they have a serious issue.
McHenry says while she was an employee at the network, conservatives didnt feel as comfortable expressing themselves.
I can just speak from being conservative, a lot of people who felt the same as I did were timid to express their opinions, McHenry said on Varney & Co.

More stories of slaves on the ESPN plantation.
Yep. These people have a real complex about being DOES (descendants of ebony slaves).
“But according to former ESPN reporter Britt McHenry, it was more about the networks own bottom line than its policies.”
Thank you, Captain Obvious.
Do not waste a beautiful mind.
I am okay with this as long as it applies to liberal leaning tweets too. People do not follow sports reporters for their political beliefs.
Well, I would state clearly that she’s not guilty.
I’ve had my spats with tow truck lots.
Even got a judgment against one.
ESPN is about to take a fall.
IMPORTANT EXECUTIVE: (storms into room)"What the HELL is this? Who is this Jemile Hill? I just read this transcript..."
BOTTOM TIER EXECUTIVE: "Well, sir, she, ah..."
IMPORTANT EXECUTIVE: "SHE WAS ON AIR, INCITING OUR ESPN VIEWERS TO BOYCOTT NFL SPONSORS! GOOD GOD! DOES SHE KNOW HOW MANY HOURS I HAVE SPENT ON MY KNEES WITH MY NOSE BURIED UP THE COLLECTIVE RECTUMS OF THE NFL AND THE OWNERS TRYING TO GET THE NEXT CONTRACT THAT COMES UP? DOES THIS IMBECILE HAVE ANY CLUE HOW MUCH MONEY IS AT STAKE, HOW MANY JOBS HERE AT ESPN ARE DEPENDING ON THAT? WE'RE BLEEDING MONEY HERE! DOES SHE KNOW HOW HARD WE HAVE BEEN WORKING TO GET IN THEIR GOOD GRACES?"
BOTTOM TIER EXECUTIVE: "She, er...has a history of being political. A few years back, she said rooting for the Boston Celtics was like calling Hitler a victim, and she recently called Trump a "White Supremacist"..."
IMPORTANT EXECUTIVE: "WHAAAAAAAT? Why didn't they fire her dumb ass during that last layoff? Surely there were a lot of people with far more experience and better at what they do than her?"
BOTTOM TIER EXECUTIVE: "Ummm...yes...that was the impression a lot of people had during the layoffs, but she laughed and said 'They can't fire me. They have these rules about minorities and females...I am double protected' and even though some people nearly choked her when she said it, she was right. I looked it up, we have policies in place..." (holds up sheaf of papers with ESPN company policies)
IMPORTANT EXECUTIVE: "GIVE ME THAT! (snatches papers from his hand) What IDIOT wrote this policy? What the Hell? It makes it impossible for us to fire her! WHO APPROVED THIS? WHAT STINKING, IDIOTIC MORON GAVE THIS THE GREEN LIGHT? THEIR HEAD IS GOING TO ROLL!"
BOTTOM TIER EXECUTIVE: "Err...sir, YOU were the one who approved and signed the policy." (points to signature at the bottom of the page)
Holy Moly!
Hubba-hubba
Don’t see how see could be found guilty of anything.
Wow!
Wonder how many woman and/or children Isner and his pals at Disney have molested.
Bill must be spinning in his grave with what Disney done.
No way a beautiful leggy blonde like that would get near as many viewers for ESPN as Black Pantherette Jemele Hill, they clearly made the right decision in canning her!
