Harvey Weinstein’s Name To Be Removed From All TV Shows He Produced

The name Harvey Weinstein is being purged from Hollywood.

On Monday, Deadline reported that The Weinstein Company is removing Weinstein’s executive producer credit from any TV series he’s worked on, and plans to wipe it from upcoming movie releases.

The outlet also reports that TWC is auditioning ad agencies to change its company name altogether.

Great idea. Let's go a bit farther. Remove Clinton, remove Obama AND remove Clinton's wife as the 2017 Democrat Standard Bearer. How sweet life would be without her chronic bitching about her loss. What WAS her name again?

When I first heard this, I immediately thought of the quote from the movie the 10 Commandments where the Pharaoh says “Let the name of Moses be stricken from every book and tablet, stricken from all pylons and obelisks, stricken from every monument of Egypt. Let the name of Moses be unheard and unspoken, erased from the memory of men for all time.”’

Of course, Weinstein is no Moses, but you get the idea....

Even better, it’s Hollywood’s version of the erasure of Pharoah Hatshepsut. Hatshepsut was the first female pharaoh and was incredibly successful. She died around 1458 B.C. in her mid-40s. Her stepson, Thutmose III, co-ruled with her and went on to rule for 30 more years after she died. Late in his reign, Thutmose III had almost all of the evidence of Hatshepsut’s rule, including the images of her as king on the temples and monuments she had built, eradicated, possibly to erase her example as a powerful female ruler, or to close the gap in the dynasty’s line of male succession. All evidence of her rule was obliterated and all stone monuments with her name were carved over.

As a consequence, scholars of ancient Egypt knew little of Hatshepsut’s existence until 1822, when they were able to decode and read the hieroglyphics on the walls of Deir el-Bahri. In 1903, the British archeologist Howard Carter discovered Hatshepsut’s sarcophagus (one of three that she had prepared) but it was empty, like nearly all of the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. After launching a new search in 2005, a team of archaeologists discovered her mummy in 2007; it is now housed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

Hollywood is attempting to Hatshepsut Weinstein. If they are as successful as the ancient Egyptians, is name should resurface around year 5492 or so.

You are dead on target. Stalin—as well as Orwell’s Ingsoc regime in Oceana—would recognize this tactic. Weinstein may end up (maybe temporarily) as a “non-person.” If Rush is right, he will eventually be rehabilitated after suitable time in a re-education camp.

How about DISNEY which bought Miramax in 1993 and kept the Weinstein Bros. as part of the bargain until 2005?? Eisner claims to have had absolutely no clue.....

Disney's former CEO Michael Eisner has weighed in.... he admits he knew Harvey was "irresponsible" and an "incorrigible bully" but it never occurred to Eisner that there could be any problems in how Harvey treats women, subordinates, job candidates, etc.
