From news i’ve heard, there were indications that the tanks were only hit 3 times and from the line of fire i suspect they were early or late rounds. If he really wanted it to flame us then i would have expected a higher caliber round/weapon used.

50 BMG tracer rounds would be hard to come by, but...it’s miles better than a .308
I’ve also heard he picked up a more powerful rifle but that wasn’t found anywhere who knows what or where that story came from
