A small caliber shooting a tracer will not penetrate the double walled steel tank.

If he were shooting high caliber armor piercing and then tracers it could have been a problem.

Or API...which would be a whole lot easier. All done in one operation.

He had a 7.62 (308) AR-10 style rifle in one pic. A 25 round P-mag for it laid on the floor ,too.
