I’ve worked in IT since the 90s. Laid off, hired, laid off, hired. Currently Work in one of the biggest IT companies in the world (think world cup) and most of my co workers are Indian or Filipina/Filapino. Mostly, they do not hire here in the States, job openings are filled overseas.

I can’t think of a way to stop that. The salary/benefit level disparity is too great.

Freedom is not importing H-1Bs to lower prices. That is BS. BTW all of those H-1Bs that I have known that eventually gain citizenship became democrats.

There is no Constitutional right to "free" trade unless it is between the 50 states.

I am against H1-B’s for exactly that reason. We have too many Democrats already!

And to repeat myself yet again, I’d kick out illegals here and have a decade-long moratorium on immigration.

I am just stating the economic reality in the tech industry with H1-Bs.
