IIRC the sand nazis were allies of the German nazis! Why would it be defamatory to associate known allies?

The sand nazis still have the SAME IDENTICAL GOALS as the German nazis! Death to the Jews, Death to the Christians, Death or enslavement of the world!

Exactly, muslims were pro-Nazi in WWII, and if this isn’t just another faux hate crime, which is the most likely explanation, it could easily be muzzies who did it.
