After nearly a week of silence, actress Jennifer Lawrence said Monday she was unaware of Harvey Weinstein’s “inexcusable” behavior and the claims that the former Weinstein & Co. boss had sexually harassed young women for decades. In a brief statement to The Hollywood Reporter late Monday, Lawrence — who worked with Weinstein on her 2012 film Silver Linings Playbook, for which she won the Oscar for Best Actress — said the allegations against Weinstein are “inexcusable and absolutely upsetting.”
“I worked with Harvey five years ago and I did not experience any form of harassment personally, nor did I know about any of these allegations,” Lawrence told the outlet.
“My heart goes out to all of the women affected by these gross actions. And I want to thank them for their bravery to come forward,” she added.
While claiming to apparently have only work with Weinstein in 2012, the 27-year-old star, however, has appeared with the super-producer at high-profile fashion events, snapped pictures with him at awards shows, and other star-studded events.

No one is a good enough actress to convince me of this.
Jennifer Lawrence has the morals of an alley cat. Most internet savvy people have seen her perverted porn pictures and video that she says were “hacked.” Why anyone would believe a word she says is beyond me.
She was too big a star to harass:
mostly Weinstein’s power was the possibility he could he could make marginal actors into big stars; she was already a big star so it makes sense she was not personally harassed.
With her deep Hollywood Connections, however, I completely disbelieve the notion she had never heard about what he was doing to others.

That is what I was thinking, too. He would prey on those whose careers needed help, on the assumption that they would at least be conflicted about saying no to him. As with Trump, I bet a lot simply put up with the abuse and harrassment thinking that it was just part of the game.
Here’s the thing-
Sexual predators are very good at sniffing out the weak and unprotected. They are cowards at heart. They will not treat a woman as prey if she is related to someone powerful in some way. It’s not worth it. They will go after the women they view as helpless; The women without a powerful male figure in their lives who could make trouble; Say, someone high up in their own business or in politics or a powerful, connected law firm.
So, when judging whether or not a woman is telling the truth when she says she didn’t know about a sexual predator’s activities, first look at who she is and where she came from. Was there a reason, back when she was 19 or 20, that the sexual predator in question might have thought twice about making a move on her? Did she come from the family of a major movie star or director? Is she related in some way to a Senator or former President? If so, she may not actually have seen the predator displaying anything but his best behaviour as he wouldn’t have wanted any negative feeling relayed to mommy or daddy.
She must have known. Somebody probably told her never to be in a room alone with Harvey. So she was never in a room alone with him. So nothing happened. So she forgot about what she’d heard.
Maybe he thought she was NOT WORTHY of his attention.
She must be the one rumored to have gotten her Oscar in return for offscreen duties

Bullshit. She has been one of his allies since the day she emerged on the scene, to which I am certain he had a part in her career trajectory.
Doesn’t seem a lot happens by chance in Hollywood.
Her big break came when she was cast in Winters Bone. It wouldn't surprise me if Weinstein had helped her get that part.

Rose has been speaking out since mid 2016, but the present firestorm started on October 5th.
She has a book coming out next week, and it will be in there.
As for Meryl Streep, she should get an OScar for the act she is putting on.
