Very strange. Some posters on FR have been asking questions about the wounded guard, and suggesting that his situation is a key to this mystery. They are right.

If police had to breach the locked interior door to the second room...then Paddock was obviously not running back and forth between the two broken windows. Who was in the second room and where did he go?

The same person who shot the security guard is the same person who shot Paddock in the chest. He bled out his mouth but was shot in the chest. Based on the dried blood versus new blood stain on the floor, this suggest to me HE DID NOT DIE IMMEDIATELY, FWIW.

Why are there so many guns in the room? I suspect Paddock was an arms dealer engaged in money laundering through the casinos. Perfect opportunity for a terrorist to seize upon because you significantly hamper investigators' ability to isolate exactly what happened.

All the terrorist had to do was bring a security guard's uniform in a bag to his meeting with Paddock and VOILA, the rest is history.

Makes one question:
When Campos said he was just doing his job.... who was his boss? What job was he referring to?

Whoever shot him, why didn’t they kill him if their intent was to kill concertgoers?

Campos and shooter knew each other.

Lombardo said Campos immediately reported to hotel security that he had been shot.

.
.

did the hotel call the police immediately? and if your the guard why would you tell hotel security first I think I’d call the police if I had the cell phone.
When the police came to him, he was still there shot. I heard on the police audio scanner when they found him. Strange it says he told the hotel yet no call to the police until the shooter started?
Not that they didn’t call and the police were on their way and in the process of getting there for the security guard the shooting started.

Since this changed, we can’t be sure anymore of anything we’re being told. Why the sheriff ran with this scenario without knowing the facts is beyond me.
