I hope to have a farmette in retirement—tho they are a lot of work—no life of leisure for me ;)
There is a large craft farm organization in northern IL/southern Wisconsin—it is sponsored by a group called “Angelic Organics” a farm and learning center—and they also have seminars...Big in mentoring too There is a winery in that group. May want to check out their websites :)
