I and many others are quite sick and tired of some Freepers wishing for or nearly gloating over bad things happening to people who happen to live in red states because of their politics.
Ya think you're going to change that? Think again. Maybe you should put up a site for good news only, where only comments you agree with are approved and accepted.
Nope I don’t expect to change anyone, but maybe if people are aware that they are offensive and perhaps others don’t share their skewed “California needs to be nuked” “deserves an earthquake” type of view, they will consider thinking before posting.

The problem is deeper than simple disagreement or dislike, and the moderators have been removing posts that poorly represent this forum.
For example, they've been removing posts, including in this thread, that proclaim the poster's lack of sympathy for Texans affected by Hurricane Harveyshooting victims who may have supported President Trump
Californians affected by these deadly wildfires. If any readers really don't understand why the moderators remove such posts, ask your mother.
