It's sad. I was an NFL fan for decades and finally gave it up for good. On the other hand, it is nice to have my Sundays back. I'm way ahead of my autumn leaf-raking and I've gone to a couple of beer festivals and fairs.
Fall is a nice time of year. Far too nice to spend precious Sunday afternoons inside watching the gaudy spectacle that the NFL has become.
