Just weeks after James Woods said he was blacklisted in Hollywood because of his conservative views, the Oscar-nominated actor said he was retiring from the industry.
Woods tweeted this summer that he had “accepted the fact that” he was blacklisted from Hollywood because of his views. He has said being conservative has made it tough to find work in Hollywood the past few years.

After he turned 70 in `86, Gregory Peck had TV jobs (Lincoln in the `Blue and the Gray’) and a couple movies (`Cape Fear’).
Of course Peck was St. Atticus, liberal icon. Bad James Woods, Hollywood black sheep: blacklisted by the whiners always complaining of blacklisted commies in the `50s.
I don’t need another, but one more reason for me to avoid movie theaters.

James Woods is a great actor, a patriotic and courageous American, and a professional gentleman. One of the good guys.
His work in “The Onion Field” and the TV miniseries “Holocaust” were my favorites. Devastating, edge of your seat acting in his prime.
Christopher Lee acted frequently into his NINETEES! Saruman at 81. Count Dooku at 83! Come on.

The Communists and supporters in Hollywood created the first “BLACKLIST” in their attempt to takeover the Hollywood industry and film “messaging” themes.
Get a copy of Alan Ryskind’s book “Hollywood Traitors: Blacklisted Screenwriters: Agents of Stalin, Allies of Hitler”, Regnery History/Regnery Publishing, 2015.
Alan’s father was the famous Hollywood screenwriter Morrie Ryskind (Marx Brothers, etc) who led the anti-communist faction of the Screenwriters Guild against the Stalinist machine led by John Howard Lawson (NKVD) and others.
The Reds put into effect a “blacklist” of conservative, anti-communists writers and actors (which Ronald Reagan fought against in the SAG (Screen Actors’ Guild). It was Reagan, John Wayne, Ward Bond and a few others who took on the “Hollywood 10 and their Communist Party fellows, resulting in hearings by the House Committee on Un-American Activities the flushed the Reds into the open.
Morrie Ryskin and his brave fellow writers never really had their story told en toto until Alan (my former editor at Human Events Weekly), got his father’s papers and related materials to tell the conservatives side of the story.
Well worth reading. It, in part, counters the communist propaganda of Victor Navasky’s “Naming Names”, Marxist historian “Paul Buhle” and Patrick cGilligan’s sympathetic (but very good read) “Tender Comrades: A Backstory of the Hollywood Blacklist”, and the more moderate PhD story/book of the late actor Robert Vaugh, “Only Victims” (which he signed for me.
Today’s Hollywood Reds include Marxist Michael Moore, Oliver Stone (a really weird one to pinpoint in the leftist spectrum but he’s not anti-communist), Landis (why he’s in with these people I don’t know), and others better known by you, the Freeper entertainment industry followers, than I.
Hate to say, but this is the tip of the iceberg. Pretty soon any conservative will have difficulty finding work — unless it’s at either a faith-based organization or a company (like Chick Fil-A) owned by a religious person.
I turn 49 in one month. I am currently dating a young blonde, 21, hair as long as her rear end, perfect little tan legs. This is living.
I also had three dates (mostly just physical) with a 62 year old. Surprisingly the older lady was quite sexy. One of those very well kept realtor ladies. Impeccably dressed, fit and very sensual.
Leftist are ‘tolerant’ of gays, black criminals, illegals etc etc.
If would be as if conservatives bragged about being ‘oh so tolerant’ because they accepted the NRA...
