Planned Parenthood Blasts Trump for Rolling Back Obamacare Abortion Mandate: He Just Hates Women
LIFE NEWS ^ | October 6, 2017 | Steven Ertelt

The Planned Parenthood abortion business today is upset that President Donald Trump is rolling back the Obamacare abortion mandate. The Mandate was one of the biggest goodies the abortion company got from the Obama administration.

In a scathing email sent to her pro-abortion group’s supporters, Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards claimed that the Trump Administration decision hurts women. Her conclusion? Trump just hates women.

Naturally her email failed to discuss how Christian businesses and organizations were forced into the Obamacare abortion mandate to pay for abortion-causing drugs for their employees. Her email fails to indicate how those Christian businesses and organizations were perfectly willing to pay for non abortifacient birth control but simply did not want to be put in a position of funding abortions.

Richards’ entire email made it appear that the Trump Administration or pro-life Advocates oppose birth control in general when that is definitely not the case.

“The Trump administration just took direct aim at birth control coverage for 62.4 million women. We need to rise up again, right now: Tell them to leave birth control coverage alone,” Richards said. “I can’t believe we still have to say this in 2017, but birth control isn’t controversial. It’s essential health care that nearly nine in ten women will use in her lifetime.”

“We’ve made so much progress in increasing access to birth control, which has brought unintended pregnancy rates overall and among teens to the lowest they’ve been in decades, and saved women $1.4 billion in 2013 alone. Now, President Trump and his cronies want to undo all that progress. The extremists who control the Department of Health and Human Services are hell-bent on taking away access to basic health care any way they can,” she claimed.

Never mind that nothing has changed about access to birth control — only whether Christian companies and groups are forced to pay for abortion-causing drugs and violate their religious or moral conscience.

Richards concluded: “Birth control is health care, full stop. Make sure the Trump administration knows we won’t stand by silently while he strips care from millions. Speak out now. I know these attacks can feel neverending. But we are powerful, we are many, and together we will make sure people can keep getting the care they need, no matter what. Thanks for standing with us.”

In contrast, the pro-life group Family Research Council applauded the two major actions today by the Trump administration that safeguard religious freedom.

“After eight years of the federal government’s relentless assault on the First Amendment, the Trump administration has taken concrete steps today that will once again erect a bulwark of protection around American’s First Freedom — religious freedom,” FRC president Tony Perkins said. “President Trump is demonstrating his commitment to undoing the anti-faith policies of the previous administration and restoring true religious freedom. Last May, the president ordered the federal government to vigorously promote and protect religious liberty –and now the DOJ and HHS are moving to make that order a reality.

“Under the Obama administration, agencies lost the understanding that religious freedoms extend to the public square, not just one’s place of worship. As a result, our own government began threatening hardworking, patriotic Americans with crushing fines for simply seeking to live their lives according to their faith,” Perkins added. “President Trump and the Department of Justice are putting federal government agencies on notice: you will not only respect the freedom of every American to believe but live according to those beliefs. This is a freedom that has been a fundamental part of our society since the beginning of our nation.”

The controversial mandate has twice made it to the Supreme Court where the nation’s highest court sided with both Hobby Lobby and Little Sisters of the Poor and their attempts to not be forced to pay for abortion causing drugs in violation of their consciences.

The court ruled that Hobby Lobby and other similar businesses were protected by the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993, which states that an individual’s religious expression shouldn’t be “substantially burdened” by a law unless there is a “compelling government interest.”

In the Hobby Lobby ruling, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito wrote that the ACA’s contraception rule “would put these merchants to a difficult choice: either give up the right to seek judicial protection of their religious liberty or forgo the benefits, available to their competitors, of operating as corporations.”

Why is it the assumption that young women going to have massive amounts of unprotected sex, and that we all have to pay for them?

Why isn’t the assumption that young men and women have the ability and responsibility to control their own urges, and not expect to have someone else pay for it?

“Are these people capable of rational thought at any level?”

If they were they wouldn’t be baby-murdering leftard scum.

Abortion and sodomy: the sacraments of the left.

So Trump by his actions will save female babies and he hates women?
But liberals who have slaughtered millions of female babies love women? Sounds logical to me,

I understand preventing an unwanted pregnancy...

However, when I was younger-—I paid for my own medications. I did have a very good health care coverage provided by my employer—Blue Cross—but it NEVER occurred to me that such coverage should be used to buy birth control pills.

Women today make alot more $$$$ than we did in years past, yet I always managed to find the money for my medications.

As far as I know, birth control pills today cost about $20 a month.

One pair of those fancy high heels would buy at least a year’s worth of pills.

You get no sympathy from me.

Learn to be responsible for yourself.

So, the government not paying for contraceptives or abortifacents == "Denying the right to birth control"

Actively trying to register (then confiscate guns) == "We're NOT anti-2nd-Amendment, we just want sensible gun control"

OK. I'm just for sensible sex control.
