Federal Government Jobs Down 13,000 Under Trump

The number of people working for the federal government has declined by 13,000 in 2017, according to data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

At the same time, overall government employment in the United States increased by 7,000 as the number of people working at the state government level and the local government level both increased.

Meanwhile, the significant increase in manufacturing jobs that started last December halted in September as the nation lost 1,000 jobs in that sector.

Salary is the tip of the iceberg. What regs do these bureaucrats make people jump through? How much do those cost?

Can't put a dollar figure on hours spent pencil pushing by business owners, due to foolish and excessive regulation. Or, on people who just said, "Eh, screw it." and didn't even bother to start.

I know of at least eight docs who got out of the doctoring business. Didn't want to bother with all of the regulation, was taking too much time away from what they really wanted to do - help patients. What's the cost there? What's the cost to their patients?

Smaller government means that everyone wins. Always.

In all seriousness, is that the cause of the negative job growth released today, ...or...is it due to Obama holdovers putting out phony numbers and should be fired...I’d wager the latter.
