No direct flights immediately available from Philipines to LA. I suspect the flight was a China Air as those flights are regular daily flights maybe a few times a day out of Hong Kong.

I turned H&H on after this post. The son said he won’t be on because he is entrenched in this investigation. It will be interesting to see what he’s piecing together.
The simple answer is Danley caught a $100 hop to Hong Kong to gamble with some of the $100K Paddock wired to her. She was there 3 days and flew back to the Phillipines. Danley was a gambler too, of course, and probably a consistent loser. Based on my acquaintance and friendship with a number of Filipino women, their preferred games tend to be the high losers - Keno and Slots.
I live in Florida. My sister has worked at Mandalay since the day it opened, my mother started at Circus in 1998 after she and my father ‘retired’ to Vegas. She just retied from Circus in 2015 at the age of 84.
With that said, when I go ‘home’ to visit or for conventions and shows like SEMA, it is just a working trip to visit the family. I have no interest at all with gambling but what I find fun about going with them to play is the people watching. From what I have witnessed, your observation is consistent from what I know.
The other locations...liberal cities, are red herrings. Hating Trump, Christians, and likely being Muslim I believe to be root causes. He was tempted by the power...the evil darkness, and gave in...Islam and hate of Christians are good ammo for his mind...girlfriend likely built up his ego, too...She and her Islamic dictators ...
Looks like a rental to me. Given his reported wherewithal and apparent flamboyance it seems even more likely.
