NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Las Vegas Police Department Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said on Wednesday night the man responsible for the largest mass-shooting in America's history was also heavily armed with explosive chemicals. Sheriff Lombardo stated Stephen Paddock, responsible for the deaths of 58 people and over 480 injured during Sunday night's Las Vegas shooting, also had large amounts of ammonium nitrate and tannerite in his vehicle outside the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
the question i have is about the provenance of the 4th floor shooter video and the quality.
to me, the flashes look very consistent. i occasionally shoot video as well as photo, and to me, the flashes seemed almost too consistent (same size, regular intervals, etc). in turn, this makes me wonder if the video could have been edited. to answer that, it would be interesting to learn the provenance of the original video. imho it would be easier, faster, and more straightforward to edit in a simple, regular flash than an irregular flash. i did not see many people concerned about the video’s provenance or the possibility of editing when the video first came out, but it has been a day or two since i last tracked it.
You are on the money; this appears as a ‘throw’. Assault spraying was distraction for bigger bombing.
There is also credible background chatter that Antifa-MS-13-BLM were in on it. People don’t realize that each of those groups are trained in terrorism, MS-13 especially.
The initial burst target was apparently the fuel tanks.
Purpose was to cause major explosion and crowd would move closer to the hotel and not be able to figure out the source of explosions / firing. Instead of knowing the approximate location fire came from people would be clueless and not sure where to go.
Sheriff today implied that they believe it was a conspiracy given the complexity and components.

Incorrect. It’s a police officer with a flashlight looking for the gunman, they didn’t know where it was coming from yet. Shortly after the purported shooting by him you can see him come past after the guy in cowboy hat. More interesting is that no muzzle flash is seen from the upper Mandalay Bay right wing windows
Those really loud and bright explosions at fireworks displays that scare the kids.

If I recall someone stated that the gunfire sounded like they were coming out of the sound speakers. Now what if the shooter on the 4th was only a visual distraction due to pinpoint flashes (which may explain why window was not broken). As LS stated just by the sound could have driven the crowd toward the fuel tanks & as for Paddock, he may have been a back up to help drive those crowd. So that is my dumb theory.
So ammonium nitrate mixed with diesel fuel and put in a car with Tannerite could in theory be set off from a distance with a shot from a high powered rifle.
The other detail is after mixing, Tannerite becomes more and more sensitive to impact, and ultimately (days) even a minor bump can set it off.
Wow. With 50 pounds of tannerite I know where I would have parked my car if I was an evil SOB.
The distinctive sounds of two different guns firing (one much closer to the car where the video was taken) is definitely intriguing, though. I've speculated that someone at or near ground level (security, police, civilian) may have actually been returning fire against the guy on the 32nd floor.
There might have been ‘other players’ some of whom got cold feet when it came down to the attack.
Otherwise, why wouldn’t he shoot the vehicle with the explosive in it?

LOL! That was still ‘flashing’ hours after the attack!
Sometimes the sound from the barrel bounces off nearby flat objects and the barrel sound as well as the bounced off sounds reach the ear at close to the same time, thus sounding louder and closer.
Other times, the primary sound might impact off flat surfaces and dissipate more before reaching the ear, thus sounding weaker, thus further away, so a small change in location can in fact fool the listener into thinking there are much closer or much farther than actual.
