This has been along the lines of my suspicions... that at the very least if they don’t find personal connections or traveling and joining groups, they will find he traffic on his devices to strongly left leaning websites and information sources.

But there is something more that is bothering me. The actual number and variety of guns and ammo that he had. A virtual treasure trove! It reminds me of the scene in Minority Report when Colin Farrell’s character asks how many times he has happened upon a crime scene with ‘an orgy of evidence’. It really doesn’t happen unless it’s set up to be.

Local gun shops have already said he bought guns and stuff from them.

Every weapon can be verified as to it’s provenance...............

Killer had enough weapons to kill for hours. It appears he felt he would NOT be alone in that room.

Killer’s girlfriend was/is married to a ‘move on’ activist.

Killer might have been connected to Antifa.

Killer chose venue carefully over a period of weeks. This was not a spur of the moment slaughter.

The FBI is doing everything humanly possible to protect the killer by keeping leaks to a minimum. Just like they did with Hillary and every other white liberal elite.

The press was freely speculating when the only information was ‘white man’... then they shut down on ‘motive’ when it leaked he was ‘elite’...

This psychotic lunatic planned meticulously and executed with skill. The girlfriend may have had some inkling that he was planning something but her prime intent was to get as much money for herself as possible. She probably does not know his “motive”. His “motive” may be the incomprehensible rant of a psychotic brain. It may never be known.

Admittedly, I don't know anything more at the moment. However, I'm shocked (though not particularly surprised) that no one--namely, no "conservative" commentator--has so much as suggested even the possibility that this historically unprecedented massacre just may be the event in which the violent hatred to which suspected Deplorables have been routinely subjected for over a year-and-a-half has reached its bloody climax.

That theory is all over the place here. If you don't see it on TV, is that a bad thing? Do we need another rush to judgment?

It's certainly possible. But it's a theory that comes so naturally to political people that they'd be right to be skeptical about it.

If your're a terrorist trying to make a political point, you want to strike deep in the heart of the enemy's territory, or take down a symbol that's important to your enemy. The exception is if you have limited mobility, but you'd still go for a target that has high symbolic value.

A country music concert at Branson or Nashville or Dollywood might be a target if you hate "deplorables." One just outside your favorite casino in Las Vegas -- not so much. And it's not like the alleged shooter didn't have the ability or resources to travel to more symbolically significant locations.

I think it was more a matter of the concert being the largest mass gathering near where he was, rather than a target chosen for political reasons, but subconsciously, there may have been something in this theory. If you're a White guy who shoots up a rap or salsa concert, people are going to conclude that you are a racist or White nationalist or White separatist. If you attack a meeting of largely White people you avoid that. So what looks like a political act to some people may have been an explicitly apolitical act. We don't know yet.

PS I wouldn't necessarily build the ex into something important. He may just have been another guy who spouts politics on the Internet. Of course, someone might have thought the same thing about the Scalise shooter and that would have been wrong, but how different really was Danley from thousands of other guys? Change the political affiliation, and who knows? Maybe you or me.

You and the author could always wait a while to find out more facts. Y'know, to make an informed opinion.

Your theory might be even more credible if it turns out he recently learned he had a debilitating or terminal medical situation to deal with.

I agree with the author.

Of all of the photos/film I saw during and after the attack, all I saw were whites.

that pic of someone’s legs/torso in the hotel room is/was interesting.

not a gun expert or a suicide expert or a crime scene investigator, but a gun with a stand that was pictured over the left leg seems odd.

so was the gun under the body- at least it looks like half a gun under the body.

Unless one would lie on the floor and put the bullet into their head?
Is that how it’s done?

But if true, what’s the deal with the other gun under the body, too?

Not sure if one’s body or legs would lie perfectly still after a bullet was shot into their head, but that one gun over the leg of that body seemed not to be disturbed.

I've read that. Could be legally purchased "salesman samples".

Red Badger :" It is an Anti-Trump attack. The culmination of all the leftwing hate and violence...................."

I see it as primarily an Anti-Trump attack, also, but with a pro-left agenda.
Why would any terrorist surround himself with so much firepower knowing full well that he may have used only 3 or 4 of the weapons
leaving an additional 15 weapons in the hotel room totally unused and never fired during the incident ?
Why would such a methodical and premeditated individual have such a large cache of weapons go totally unused, except to make a statement ?
Foreign press have made mention of a note he left behind in the hotel room
That note might explain his mindset and indicate his thoughts at the time of his terrorist actions.

Either he was a rabid, violent Lefty or he was a Jihadist. My money is on Jihadist but he’s a terrorist regardless.

The LVPD officer who gave the press conference yesterday strongly suggested that “radicalization” could be involved and urged the press to start digging into this. He knows something that he’s not being allowed to disclose. I imagine the FBI has something to do with his inability to say anything more.

He videoed his atrocity, to what end? Posterity is for the living, not the dead.

He must have wanted someone to see his evil actions.

The police and feds, certainly, but who else?

Others of his ilk?

Was he ‘live-streaming’ it to somewhere or someone?.............

That report may just be a red herring to make people move away from the “deplorable” theory.

The FBI will never publish the shooter’s motive if he was a Trump hater who wanted to kill Trump voters. This story will be forgotten, dropped down the official Federal Memory Hole where Hillary’s 33,000 emails are.
