Was he the original purchaser? I really don’t know I’m just asking questions. It would seem to me that had he been the original purchaser then yes flags might/should have shown up. I buy quite a few firearms and almost all my purchases come from private sellers mainly due to the type firearms I buy. Old Colt’s, Winchesters and some older Smith and Wesson’s. Also have a soft spot for old Browning Hi-Powers!

I listened to a video. It was a female and I believe she was from ATF. If you buy 2 or more guns at a time, a flag goes up and it has to be reported.

There is no flag if purchases are a single weapon and does not have to be reported.

He was the original purchaser.
