CBS fired a company lawyer Monday after she criticized victims of the the Las Vegas mass shooting, which claimed the lives of at least 59 people.
Hayley Geftman-Gold, who was a vice president and senior legal counsel at CBS in New York, wrote on Facebook that she was “actually not even sympathetic” to the victims of the shooting because “country music fans often are Republican gun toters,” according to Los Angeles Times. She added that she had no hope that Republicans — whom she called “Repugs” — would ever take action and “do the right thing” if they didn’t do anything when children were murdered.
Her posts have since been deleted. Geftman-Gold, who had been with CBS for a year, could not immediately be reached for comment.

The headline is misleading. She has no sympathy for *any* of the victims because *some* country music fans might be Republicans.

She’s every bit the intolerant bigot she likely claims so many people are. Plus, the fact that some of these other fans might be anything tells you all you need to know about the selfish, nature of this person. Someone voting for the other candidate is a lot different than someone who is dead. Plus those other people have families, friends, etc. The whole idea that only conservatives like country music is bull. I grew up knowing some liberal people who liked country.
Exactly. No doubt that after she was let go, CBS also gave her a list of prospective employers and a hush-hush settlement. This broad will be back on the air spewing her bile somewhere.
