Exactly. If his crew carries guns you'd think he'd be smart enough to know it's not the guns themselves.
I watched a lengthy clip, there was a period of time when they were unaware it was even happening. And one report I’ve heard said that the exits were on the side of the venue facing the shooter.
Also there were some gaps in the shooting (as he reloaded).
Perhaps some thought “it was over” after the first burst subsided. The hesitation by some may have cost them their lives.
Not a lot of cover in an open air field. One of the performers made a comment that they figured the shooter had to be up high because he’d shot some people behind/obscured by a tent.
For we know, lacking any better information this early on, is that approx. 500 were injured, but a good number of those are likely the result of getting trampled by 25,000 panicked people all trying to run away at the same time.
Plus the media intentionally inflates the numbers of injured to include anyone for anything in order to increase the shock value to the viewer/listener.
Honestly, do you people ever employ any level of critical thinking at all with these news reports?
Maybe the government should outlaw murder and mass killings if legislation is the answer.
The expression ‘shooting fish in a barrel’ comes to mind when these fools try to reduce us to being the fish.

He had at least 1 fully automatic weapon and a huge crowd (I heard 22,000).
I heard audio and this time it was really an automatic and not a MSM mis-identified semi.
Plus, as someone else mentioned, there were probably a lot of people injured in the stampede to get away.

Good point. This guy killed 58 people and then died by his own hand. Stalin and Mao killed a combined 70 million people and died in their beds. Nobody kills like governments.

Not all injuries would have been from the gun. He was using an automatic, which greatly increases casualty and injury estimates compared to other shootings.
From the video you can see many people took cover by getting low on the ground.... that probably seemed like a good idea... but he was elevated. They in fact, had no cover and were sitting ducks.
Well Caleb, you see, in America the RIGHT to carry a weapon puts a 98 lb. old woman on equal footing with a 6’4” 300 lb. man. It’s called FREEDOM, genius.
