LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)– A Lakewood mother was hospitalized after she was assaulted outside a movie theater.
It happened Tuesday night at the Century 16 Belmar theater. Heather Piper went to a movie with a couple friends where a small group of teens was allegedly “acting out of control.”
“They were crawling over seats and yelling,” Piper said. “I asked them to be quiet several times and they wouldn’t and I finally yelled at them to ‘shush.’”
Despite her attempts to quiet the three teenagers, Piper said the group continued to act inappropriately. That’s when another movie-goer got a security guard to come into the theater and the teens behaved. Yet, when Piper left the theater with her friends, one of the raucous teens confronted her.
“She was screaming and just punched me on the side of the head,” Piper said.
Piper said her two friends ran inside to get help as the young woman continued to punch her.
“I said, ‘What are you doing? What’s wrong with you?’ And she lost it. She started hitting me again and then started crying saying, ‘Well you called me ghetto,’” Piper said.

Not stupid but conditioned. She is clearly indentured to whatever govt agency pays her and can't imagine living without it.
Yes, and now her arrest and possible jail time will add to her ghetto cred. If you don’t like being called the equivalent of white trash, don’t behave like uncouth trash.
A no win situation unless you are similar to your inquisitors.
At this rate, people of other melanin levels will no longer be able to use any adjectives to describe these thugs. You can’t say they’re black, you can’t say they’re thugs, you can’t say they’re ghetto.
And with the alphabet soup crowd wanting their piece of the pie, you won’t be able to identify them as male or female.
So, when these youts (and it’s almost always the youts) commit crimes and need to be described for purposes of justice, how will they be described? Honor roll stu-ints? Future cRap stars? Dindus?
I’m not sure beaten ton death is a better outcome.
More and more I foresee an American society that isn’t very social, at least in terms of random gatherings at public entertainment venues. That kind of thing only works when the participants all abide by an unwritten social contract based upon manners and respect for strangers. I must presume that in major cities, all of that is long gone.

Exact same thing happened to me at a theater in downtown Ithaca, New York...IN 1964!
I was 13 attending a matinee with a friend. “Yute” girls acting out in front of me. I asked them several times to please be quiet. Finally got the manager who told them to knock it off. When the movie was over, I got a hand on my shoulder, wheeled me around, and POW!! Right in the face. Down I went. Remember it like it was yesterday.
I learned my lesson early when dealing with ghetto.

Yep. This white woman just took her beating at the hands of a she-ape. Knowing if she resisted or fought back - the state would punish her by yanking her license and taking her foster kids away.
