LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)– A Lakewood mother was hospitalized after she was assaulted outside a movie theater.
It happened Tuesday night at the Century 16 Belmar theater. Heather Piper went to a movie with a couple friends where a small group of teens was allegedly “acting out of control.”
“They were crawling over seats and yelling,” Piper said. “I asked them to be quiet several times and they wouldn’t and I finally yelled at them to ‘shush.’”
Despite her attempts to quiet the three teenagers, Piper said the group continued to act inappropriately. That’s when another movie-goer got a security guard to come into the theater and the teens behaved. Yet, when Piper left the theater with her friends, one of the raucous teens confronted her.
“She was screaming and just punched me on the side of the head,” Piper said.
Piper said her two friends ran inside to get help as the young woman continued to punch her.
“I said, ‘What are you doing? What’s wrong with you?’ And she lost it. She started hitting me again and then started crying saying, ‘Well you called me ghetto,’” Piper said.

Not to make light of a physical attack, but, it appears that the person who was insulted by being called ghetto, proved that it was a proper description. You react to the insult by behaving in the manner of the insult????
Maybe they figured that they wouldn’t be attacked. Or they figured that maybe Hollywood has a good remake this time.

The media doesn’t care how the woman is doing. They just want to sell ads.
And yet, they still can't figure out why other races seem them as violent people. If the shoe fits... And if ever you want that shoe not to fit, you may want to get your own house in order first and show other people you can control your temper and your solution to every problem is not to strike out and blame everyone but yourself.

I’m sorry, but if you are going to confront teens, calling them ghetto, you better be able to back it up.
They are very lucky to be alive with their brains intact.

Theaters, NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, have been off my “to do list” for deacades. why anyone would offer a nickel’s worth of “financial aid” to any of these people by way of patronizing them is beyond me.
Going to the movies isn’t fun anymore.

They say hitting a woman is inappropriate but I’d probably be calling her a She-boon, HoodRat to see how much I could trigger her.
