Coming from you, who can’t even tell when someone is talking to you or the author of an article you post, that’s pretty funny.

Oppose that and suggest fans sing it together in unison to support the flag.

I was thinking about that. What if American fans took a page from European soccer fans and instead of cheering just sang the national anthem during the game. I wonder if the players would take a knee during the game?

The flag and anthem representing the Republic of the United States of America does not trigger animosity among the heart and soul of this country, only among those who despise the moral values of it's foundation.

Taking sides on this issue best be done with the utmost consideration of consequences.

There has always been isolated burning, spitting, stamping etc. disparaging flag incidents by cretins and undesirables to gain bravado amongst their peers. But this recurring public display and media condoned attack on American principles via the flag is absolutely the wrong venue, a massive tactical fail.

Kapernick is an idol of the same people who admire Caitlyn Jenner, Che Guavera, Hillary Clinton, George Clooney, and that weasel Obama.

Sadly, I think we have more than a few senior military officers who fit into that category.

Ive sort of felt this way for awhile. Can’t do it now or it would been seen as capitulation.

I also don’t care for God Bless America in the 7th inning stretch. I prefer Take me out to the Ballgame. JMHO.

I do not want to give in to these cretins now however.

BROADWAY -Perhaps not sung at the opening of ‘plays’ but it is sung in theater at the opening of the ‘season’ IIRC just yesterday a post here showing the audience singing a joyful, patriotic rendition of OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM. No time to check URL, but remember its being sung at season beginning.

ha!!! ya think? This NFL Disaster is getting worse. 2 sponsors pulled out tonight because the players are not patriotic. NFL must take action very soon or they are ruined!!

Agreed. Anyone who feels like respecting our flag and our anthem is “A compelled show of patriotism” is welcome not to come, or they are welcome to deal with the disgust they will receive from decent people if they do come.

The other reason is when the style of singing changed in the 90’s i guess Icould hardley stand it sometimes. ( the mariah Carey, Whitney Houston style where they hit about 15 notes for one syllable - does that have a name?)

Yeah, there is the solution. Take away the Anthem and the other signs of patriotism.

Rush said this exact thing would be demanded by the leftists. Yes, WE PLAY THE ANTHEM, for sporting events, to remind everyone, we’re all part of one big beautiful American nation!

No, let us return to the traditional, “all rise and join in the singing of the National Anthem.”

It looks like you were right and the squishy RINO types are going to help it along...

Vanity: The Endgame is to remove the National Anthem and the US Flag from public view

Frankly, I don’t see the connection between a sports event and the National Anthem

I posted the story many times this week.
