Bolshevik. We don’t need bolsheviks in the Army.
I remember when communists were kept out of our military.
That was before the Kenyan from Indonesia usurped the office with the assistance of EVERYONE in the District of Corruption.
This is really blowing up on every type of media I frequent. I’d say this dude will soon be a poster child for the “oppressed” as he gets his ass bounced from active duty.
Meanwhile Obama’s holdover moles are still silently at work doing their dastardly deeds undermining Trump and the USA...
Bust this sucker and get him out of the military.
I seem to recall having to affirm that I did not have communist sympathies (or something to that effect) when I joined up. That was before the Wall came down, so presumably that subject was particularly important, but still...
If that has not changed, then did this guy swear falsely when he was commissioned?
How does this asshat's actions square with that?
Does he live at the corner of Frag Street and Blanket Party Avenue?
I’m sorry, did I read that he regularly tweets this kind of garbage? Regularly? Shouldn’t the second time have been enough to bounce this enemy within? Why is no one paying attention to another potential Major Nidal?
He is looking to get out of the military service AFTER he received his education. He should serve his military term peeling potatoes!
Before I was commissioned, I had to undergo a background check for a Secret clearance. I was specifically asked about Communism. I guess they don’t anymore?
Even the seemingly minor aspects of this blow my mind.
For example - in the photo where he has 'Communism will win' in his hat, he is clearly in the cadet only area, about to participate in a parade...iow, the person who took the photo was also a cadet...who apparently didn't have any problem at all with the message.
Haircut - too long. Sideburns - too long.
The photo of him with the Che shirt beneath - at a minimum his roommate saw him put it on...and again apparently saw no problem with it...its not even the 'Che' image, its the fact it isn't an official uniform part that is striking. In the photo, this guy is a senior cadet (clearly with prior combat military service)...yet its acceptable to his peers to set such a poor leadership example and run off to parade out of uniform?
The Che shirt photo is also at the stadium - IOW this is taken immediately after graduation (there is no other reason to ever be at the stadium in full dress uniform). So this is the moment where cadets from around the country have their families around them, LT Bar pinning ceremonies are going on, newly minted LT's are getting their first salutes as real officers, and there is a sense of pride and newfound responsibility in the air - and this guy opens up his dress coat? With the exception of seeing a few cadets undo their top collar clasp, I have NEVER seen a cadet unbutton his dress coat in front of the public like that.
It just shocks me that this guy seemed to have a 'too cool for school' attitude, yet his superiors and peers didn't let that stop him from getting a commission...and that's BEFORE we get to the commie loving part. Wow.
Oh, one last thing - the tradition is to THROW that hat upon graduation, after which children run on the field and grab a hat as a souvenir. He probably thought is was real cute to put his commie message in the hat, so some kid would pick it up...and NOBODY stopped him from doing that?!?! When I was a cadet, I was always amazed at how seldom we were told 'how to act'. We would go to the Army/Navy game...a huge opportunity to make the Corps of Cadets look bad, yet we never go lectured on what not to do - it was assumed that we were grown up enough to already know. Not anymore.
Nary a word about the fact that he espouses Communism and is an enemy of our Republic...plus he's likely to be not quite right in the head and could be a danger to his fellow West Pointers at any time.
Please keep us updated on this, Gamecock. I hope future statements from the Academy or the U.S. Army address the real issue here.

What’s the big deal? We just endured two terms of an identically minded pig of a POTUS and, not only did we not chastise him, we gave him a Nobel prize. (Which goes to show two things, viz. 1) Americans have become an incredibly stupid demographic and 2) the Nobel prizes are as significant as the Oscars.
What is this idiot a 12 year old?
Military members, for example, may attend political meetings or rallies only as spectators and not in uniform. They're not permitted to make public political speeches, serve in any official capacity in partisan groups or participate in partisan political campaigns or conventions.Maybe dealing with strategy on NORK and Iran is taking all their time, but why doesn't Trump call Mattis and JCOS on the carpet and ask them why the hell this crap is going on?They also are barred from engaging in any political activities while in uniform.
A combat engineer assigned to the 416th Theater Engineer Company potentially violated these rules Jan. 3 when he stepped onto a stage at Ron Paul's headquarters in Ankeny, Iowa, during the Iowa Caucus to offer a personal endorsement. Although he was wearing his uniform, the Soldier was not in an active status at the time, Maj. Angela Wallace, an Army Reserve spokeswoman, confirmed.
Wallace emphasized that the Soldier "stands alone in his opinions regarding his political affiliation and beliefs, and his statements and beliefs in no way reflect that of the Army Reserve."
His chain of command is aware of the issue and is considering appropriate disciplinary action to take, she said.
Hey Gamecock, if you are interested, there is already a thread with 200+ replies that has some more information.
They can only warn him about making a political statement in uniform. They can’t do anything about his political party. He’s not likely to be kicked out, although his intent may be to get a lawsuit going.
