Good idea.....bring them to one of the air bases when
the famlies are there to recieve their hero loved ones arrive.
I'd probably go one step further and add the last verse of the Anthem to be sung, while clips of injured Vets salute the flag on crutches, wheel chairs, etc. to "educate" all Americans what genuine sacrifice and the true meaning of "hero" is all about.
(To those who've never had the opportunity to hear or sing that most poignant of verses: "O thus be it ever when freemen shall stand, Between their loved home and war's desolation! Blessed with vict'ry and peace, may the heaven rescued land, praise the power that hath made and preserved us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, and this be our motto - "In God is our Trust,"and the star spangled banner in triumph shall wave, o're the land of the free and the home of the brave!
God bless America and especially all of those blessed brave souls who have fought or stood against oppression to preserve us!
