What is Evil?

During the course of the 20th century socialist and communist regimes brutally murdered somewhere between 160,000,000-350,000,000 men, women, and children in their maddened attempts at building the ideal society free from evil, especially the evils 'caused' by the Christian God, the Fall, monogamous marriage, the two created sexes, ethical restraints, cultural taboos and all conditions that make for envy:

"When I say that Marxism is based on envy, I mean that the glorious revolution of the proletariat...was really a promise to put a final end to all the conditions that make for envy." (Joseph Epstein, author and former editor of The American Scholar, from Truths about Socialism, Coral Ridge Ministries, p. 66)

What is Evil?

People excerpting their own blogs rank pretty high.

People that write "alot" or "ur" are right up there too.

Movies with subtitles have to be on the list.

Evil is neurotic narcissism.

humblegunner, I find you interesting and appreciate your steadfast indignation with those you decry as blog pimps, but I really do not often get to know what you think about the contents of threads. I would like to read what you think about a vast amount of subjects. Please consider posting more posts about things other than condemnations of blog pimps.

Humanism, naturalism, de-humanizing evolution, and scientism, the spawn of positivism

uhm hmm.
It’s funny how we take as a given the civilization that science made possible, expecting light to appear when we flip the switch. But when the scientific method bumps up against religious beliefs, it is scorned.

“the civilization that science made possible” This sequence is exactly backwards. It was two-dimensional Christianity that made Western science possible by de-divinizing the cosmos. With the Renaissance science began to return to its magical (occult) roots with the entrance of humanism, and spiritual evolution and reincarnation.
